Flower Description: Here is a lily that will really get your garden “buzzing”. Yellow Hornet has just come out of our trial beds where it was a hands down winner in all categories, fade resistant, long bloom, combined with rich, long lasting color. This magnificent Tango type lily is unsurpassed for making a bold statement in any garden setting. We are offering for this spring the bulbs used in trials which means that are very few of them. When they are gone for this spring, we do not anticipate the first larger commercial crop to be available for 2 or 3 years. ‘Yellow Hornet’ is a June bloomer that can reach 4 feet but usually tops out at about 3. Unscented.
Bulb Size - Our standard for bulbs of this lily cultivar ranges from Premium-size» (16/18 cm) to Exhibition-size» (over 20 cm). Click here for details.
