Stock # 6003 - 'Gold Eagle' - Trumpet/Aurelian Lily Bulb

50th Anniversary! When first released in 1957 by Leslie Woodriff, this exceptional Aurelian clone was known as 'Giant Flat Yellow' and then was changed in the early 60's. 'Gold Eagle' produces wide-petaled, lemon-yellow 10 inch flowers with many delicate cinnamon-red raised papillae in the bloom centers. This is the original Woodriff clonal selection, propagated vegetatively. Popular with our visitors who delight in its beauty and enchanting fragrance, 'Gold Eagle Clone' was awarded the prestigious Award of Merit at the 1986 North American Lily Society International Show. 4 to 6 Feet. July/August flowering. Light fragrance.
