B&D Lilies' EXCLUSIVE!

The Geoduck (pronounced Gooey duck) is probably the most famous resident of the Hood Canal. Visitors to Washington are often led to believe it to be the "official" Washington State Bird. In actuality, it is the worldÕs largest burrowing clam, with reported specimens weighing up to 15 pounds and with a lifespan of 150 years. Though our 'Geoduck' will not weigh in at 15 pounds, and does not yet having a 100-year track record, we have marveled at its grace, beauty, and fragrance for many years. Golden nectary furrows and deeper pink ruffled petal edges accent a soft pastel- pink base color of this garden gem. This breeding line, started by the late Don Egger, has provided by far the most beautiful trumpets every developed; ÔLord Samuel HoodÕ, ÔLilliwaupÕ, ÔChief ChetzemokaÕ ÔDuckabushÕ and now ÔGeoduckÕ will remain a lasting tribute to his work. 5 Feet. July.

Bulb Size - Our standard for bulbs of this lily cultivar ranges from Premium-size» (16/18 cm) to Exhibition-size» (over 20 cm). Click here for details.
