Lily Bulb Description
Classification: Trumpet/Aurelian Hybrid (USDA Zones 5-10, colder climates w/winter mulch)
Lily Bulb #L-6500 - This past decade has led to a stunning breakthrough in trumpet breeding for B&D Lilies. No longer is the base selection restricted to the old standbys of 'Pink Perfection', 'Golden Splendor', 'Copper King', and 'Moonlight', all dating back to the 1950's.
The majority of these are Tetraploid lilies, but there are very strong-growing polyploids and diploids in this mix as well. For the breeder, this is a genetic bonanza! For the home gardener, it adds great color diversity to your garden. There will be some ordinary-looking, solid color plants in this mix, but many are nearly identical to selected clones that will be offered in the future at much higher prices. Fragrant. 4 to 5 Feet. July / August.
Bulb Size - Our standard for bulbs of this lily cultivar ranges from Premium-size» (16/18 cm) to Exhibition-size» (over 20 cm). Click here for details.
