Lily Bulb Description

Spicy fragrance, 3 to 4 Feet. Mid / Late July flowering.

Pastel pinks that are color fast are few and far between. Johan's email notes, while in bloom in 90+ temps, was clean and simple - “no fading, no damage” meaning in breeder lingo, the flowers are color fast and do not sunburn.

Johan referred to 'Pink Temptress' as a “trip down memory lane” as 30 to 40 years ago, there were many pastels. The forcing trade, insisting on deeper, richer colored flowers without spots back then, turned professional breeders away from these pastel garden necessities. Thankfully around 12 years ago, spots made a triumphant return. Pastels, we feel, are a must in every garden as they soften the overall texture. As with the pure white lilies such as the Oriental 'Nova Zembla' or the Orienpet 'Hacienda' they help pull everything together.

As mentioned above 'Pink Temptress' is a soft pastel pink that blends to nearly white petal tips. Accented by deep pink personality spots and a deeper pink mid ridge in the petals, simply put, 'Pink Temptress' is beauty defined. While Johan reported her as “no fading, no damage” we still recommend some light afternoon shade in very hot areas to intensify the pink coloration. Mid to Late July Flowering. 3 to 4 Foot Stems. Quite Fragrant.

Very Limited. There is a field projection of 10 bulbs available for spring delivery.
