Flower Description: We have been watching this lily for several years trying to decide if we really needed another white in our garden line up. Each year 'Mothers Choice' just looked better and better, so during the 2009 bloom we added this fine variety to our listings.
These purest of white flowers are simply exquisite. During a temperature spike with 3 days over 100 F., there wasn't even a hint of burn whereas other white varieties still under trial fried in the direct sun and 105 degree F. heat. Those failed lilies were flagged for destruction, which can be all too common with the cut flower varieties out of Holland. Few survive the rigors of life in the real world of the garden and unfortunately are the ones most often found on the web only "stores". 'Mothers Choic'e will be a great addition to your white garden as well as being the perfect foil to set off your pink's and red's. 3 to 4 Feet. July Blooming.
