Classification: Oriental-Trumpet Hybrid Lily (USDA Zones 5-9, the colder climates of this range must provide winter mulching.)
Aleia Eudoxia was the powerful, strong willed and influential wife of the Roman Emperor Arcadius. Coinage from 401 to 403 AD shows her diadem draped bust with the "Hand of God" holding a wreath over her head. ÔEudoxiaÕ can be described in just one word - WOW! This fantastic new OT introduction not only will fill your hunger for the apricot/melon tones in your garden, but these flowers also last a long, long time. The flowers are smaller in size than most of the OTÕs we grow, but when you see the color, it doesnÕt matter. Very color fast in our Northwest climate, but as with the Oriental/Asiatic hybrid ÔOraniaÕ it is best planted in some light afternoon shade in the hotter climates to prolong this unique and rare color. 3 to 4 Feet.
Bulb Size - Our standard for bulbs of this lily cultivar ranges from Premium-size» (16/18 cm) to Exhibition-size» (over 20 cm). Click here for details.
