'Alusta' - Orienpet Hybrid Lily

Alusta’ is a Finnish word meaning “foundation” or “workbench”. Apply named, this lily has indeed been a foundation / workbench for many a breeding project. We offered ‘Alusta’ a number of years ago and then set it on the back burner in favor of what has become one of our best sellers over the years, ‘Conca d’ Or. Though sitting in the wings for years, every season we were drawn back to it as it came into flower. We feel that any lily that keeps coming back year after year and always stronger than the year before, needs to be spread throughout the garden world. This lily is persistent producing its flowers that are a bit smaller and more cupped shaped than Conca d' Or. 3 to 4 Feet. July Flowering.
