Classification: Oriental-Trumpet Hybrid (USDA Zones 5-9, colder climates w/winter mulch.)
Creamy-white blooms with a red "lipstick" accent down the center of each petal and bronze-color buds set this star-shaped beauty apart from other OT hybrids. Sweet fragrance, perfect as a specimen planting near outdoor living areas. 4 Feet. Late July.
ECONOMY 12-PACKS Size is smaller on these bulbs than we normally sell due to our cold and rainy spring and summer. Bulbs for next year’s catalog and web sales are in the ground, so these are not required for propagation. Expect one to three flowers at most during next summer, with many more to come in the years that follow. Plant with 4 inches of soil covering bulbs, even though they are smaller in size, they still need to be well-anchored against wind. Mulch for the winter (after soil freezes) in the Midwest and other severe-winter climates.
