Work has been ongoing in this breeding line for many years with the earliest hybrids being released to the garden market in the 1990's and we have come a long way from the brittle, floppy petals of some early selections. More recent varieties are now on a par with the best pure Asiatics for stamina, beauty and an easy-to-grow nature. Longiflorum-Asiatic (LA) hybrids are the answer to your dreams of early summer fragrance, with fast multiplying and bright colors.
