'Candy Club' - Private Harvest™ Orienpet
Lily Bulb Description
Flower Description: This sweetly scented, pink and white bicolor adds a flirty softness to your pastel garden. And talk about pink, even the bulbs of 'Candy Club' are a lovely shade of pink. Consider planting a trio in your garden for a lovely pink feature year after year. Featured on the cover of our spring 2009 catalog, Candy Club sold out in short order that year and still rates in our top 10 varieties for sales. Don't delay and miss out on bulbs this fall. 3 to 4 Feet. July Bloom. Sweetly Fragrant.
Photo inset is of “average” stem of 'Candy Club' taken on June 3, 2012. Judging from stem size compared to a quarter and based on experience, we expect these bulbs to easily exceed 24 cms in circumference with most ranging close to 30 cms in circumference. These are all 5 year old bulbs from scales and many will be producing a double nose and divide in their next season. Many of the bulbs in this bed are already showing very closely spaced "double" stems as shown in the photo inset and have already begun to divide. These will be hand dug this fall in order to keep the new divisions together.
As Mother Nature can be a bit fickle, especially here in NW Washington, should any of our listed Private Harvest™ varieties not make expected size, we will contact you for options before shipping.
Bulb Size - Our standard for bulbs of this lily cultivar ranges from Premium-sizeª (16/18 cm) to Exhibition-sizeª (over 20 cm). Click here for details.
Classification: Orienpet Hybrid Lily Bulb (USDA Zones 5-9, the colder climates of this range must provide winter mulching.)
