Flower Description: Dark rose to scarlet, depending on the area, this lily does tend to be the darkest of the double flowered Orientals. Cold, wet springs may lighten the red tint, changing its look completely. As with any of the double-flowered Oriental lilies, a more protected area, from hot sun or weather extremes, is best for the largest, and longest lasting flowers. Hot, direct sun will bleach these flowers to light pink in warmer areas. Spicy fragrance. 3 to 4 Feet. Late July / Early August Flowering.
Bulb Size - Our standard for bulbs of this lily cultivar ranges from Premium-size» (16/18cm) to Exhibition-size» (over 20 cm). Click here for details.
Classification: Oriental Hybrid Lily Bulb (USDA Zones 6-9, the colder climates of this range must provide winter mulching.)
