Flower Description: The short fat buds of 'Carolina' pop open to reveal pristine white double flowers with just a hint of lemon gold at their centers. As with all light colored double lilies, afternoon shade is recommended in warmer climates to protect the petal edges from being crisped by the sun, or cut the flowers just before opening to use in a vase, leaving as many leaves as possible to build the bulb back up for the next season’s flowers. 3 to 4 Feet. Late July Flowering
