'Luson' - Orienpet Hybrid Lily

Fragrant. 3 to 4+ Feet. Late July Flowering.

Only a very small handful of lilies garner our attention in trials, but when 'Luson' first opened, it was one of those “WOW” lilies. The flowers are huge and have a base color of the purest white. The buttery lemon centers are totally without spots to detract from its virginal beauty. Reminding us of the finest selections from L. auratum var. virginal, though strongly upfacing rather than outfacing as is the species, her flowers are without reproach. It just does not get any better. Reaching 3 to 4 feet in the field, in a garden setting, we would expect stems of 4+ feet. Late July / Early August Flowering. Wonderful Fragrance.

Bulb Size - Our standard for bulbs of this lily cultivar ranges from Premium-size (16/18 cm) to Exhibition-size (over 20 cm).
